The scent
Haltane: oud with a modern twist
Fresh and aromatic at first. Dark, warm and woody on the skin.
Haltane is built on contrast. In the first sprays, bergamot brings freshness and pink pepper a touch of sharpness. Lavender and clary sage keep the opening aromatic before the darker side of the fragrance begins to emerge. In the heart, saffron brings dry, slightly leathery warmth, and praline softens the composition with sweetness. However, Haltane does not turn into a gourmand fragrance. The sweetness acts more as a counterpart to the oud and makes the composition rounder. As it dries down, Haltane becomes distinctly darker. Oud takes the leading role, and around it, patchouli, vetiver, and leather bring depth and dry woodiness. The end result is a powerful oud fragrance, but the sweetness of the praline and the aromatic opening make it more approachable.
